AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, amending Ordinance No. 683, Section 2,
/,� codified as Kent City Ordinance 7.2.08, "Dis-
` orderly Conduct". '
Section 1. Kent City Ordinance No. 683, Section 2,
codified as Ordinance 7.2.08, "Disorderly Conduct" and which
reads as follows:
"It shall be unlawful for any person within
the corporate limits of the City of Kent to
challenge another person to fight or to fight
by agreement or to use words or by acts of
such character as to be likely to provoke a
breach of the peace or to be drunk, or drunk
and disorderly, or disorderly, to use profane,
obscene or abusive language whereby the peace
and quiet of the city is disturbed."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"It shall be unlawful for any person within the
corporate limits of Kent to be guilty of dis-
orderly conduct or of any conduct tending to-
ward a breach of the peace.
Challenging another person to fight, or fighting
by agreement; appearing in a public place in a
drunken condition; the use of profane, obscene
or abusive language tending toward or causing
a breach of the peace; the causing or making of
any unnecessary loud noise or shouting or yelling
tending toward or causing a breach of the peace
shall be considered disorderly conduct."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
