ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, amending Ordinance 1483, Section 1,
as amended by Ordinance 1577, Section 1, and
codified as Kent Ordinance 1.32.04 relating
to non -civil service sick leave.
NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Kent City Ordinance 1483, Section 1, as
amended by Ordinance 1577, Section 1 and codified as Kent Ordi-
nance 1.32.04 which reads as follows:
"It is hereby declared that sick leave
for non -civil service city employees is a
privilege and not a right and shall be ac-
cumulated at the rate of one day per month
of employment as a regular full time employee
and may accumulate to ninety days.
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"It is hereby declared that sick leave
for non -civil service city employees is a
privilege and not a right and shall beac-
cumulated at the rate of one day p
er month
of employment as a regular full time employee
and may accumulate to a maximum of one hun-
dred two days".
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law.
