ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington repealing Ordinance 1628 and
revoking the grant of franchise to Tele-
tronics, Inc. to construct, operate and
maintain a CATV system in the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, by Otdinance No. 1628 adopted December 15, 1969
Teletronics, Inc. was granted a .franchise to construct, operate
and maintain a CATV system within the City Limits of the City of
Kent, and
WHEREAS, under the grant of franchise, Teletronics, Inc.
was required to post a ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) DOLLAR cash bond
with the City treasurer to the credit of the City Engineering De-
partment, and was required within thirty (30) days of the effect-
ive date of Ordinance 1628 to file with the City Clerk its writter
acceptance of the rights and privileges conferred and the terms,
conditions and restrictions imposed by said Ordinance,
WHEREAS, Teletronics, Inc. has failed to comply with the
requirements of Ordinance 1628, now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 1628 be and hereby is repealed in
its entirety and the grant of franchise to Teletronics, Inc. be
and hereby is revoked.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after it's passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
