AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, creating a special fund to be known
as the Repair and Demolition Fund, appropriating`�'�
monies to the fund, and providing for future
withdrawals from and payments into the fund.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
IN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby created in the office of
City Treasurer a special fund of the City of Kent to be known as
the Repair and Demolition Fund.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated from Account
No. 519-700 (Reimbursables, Non -Departmental Current Expense) the
sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for initial funding of
the Repair and Demolition Fund.
Section 3. Payments shall be made out of the Repair and
Demolition Fund to defray the costs and expenses which may be
incurred by the City in doing or causing to be done the necessary
work of repair or demolition of dangerous or sub -standard buildings
Section 4. All funds collected from any source whatever
which are in the nature of reimbursement to the City for costs and
expenses incurred by the City in doing or causing to be done the
necessary work of repair or demolition of dangerous or sub -standard
buildings shall be paid to the City Treasurer who shall credit the
same to the Repair and Demolition Fund.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
