AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, amending certain sections of Kent
Ordinance No. 1071 regarding zoning, removing
service stations as an outright permitted use
in C2 Zoning Districts, and allowing veterinary
medical clinics under stated conditions as
outright Permitted uses in C3 Zoning Districts
and as conditional exceptions in Ml and M2
Zoning Districts.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 10.6.2 (§3) of Kent Ordinance No.
1071 which reads as follows:
"Garage, minor auto repair, service stations;
refrigerated locker; shoe repair; book store;
fruit and vegetable markets; bakery, self-
service laundry; printing establishments."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Garage, minor auto repair; refrigerated
locker; shoe repair; book store; fruit and
vegetable markets; bakery, self-service
laundry; Printing establishments."
Section 2. There is herewith added to Chapter 10.6.12
of the Ordinances of the City of Kent the following new section:
'(12) Veterinary medical clinics when
located no closer than 150 feet. -to any
residential use, providing the animals
are housed indoors (no, outside runs) and
the building is sound -proofed in accordance
with specifications adopted as an amendment
to the Uniform Building Code."
Section 3. There is herewith added to Chapter 1.0.7.051
of the Ordinances of the City of Kent the following new section:
"(4) Veterinary medical clinics when
located no closer than 150 feet to any
residential use, providing the animals
are housed indoors (no outside runs) and
the building is sound -proofed in accordance
with specifications adopted as an amendment
to the Uniform Building Code."
Section 4. There is herewith added to Chanter 10.7.3
