ORDINANCE NO. 6k?
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, approving a plat of a portion
of land in said City, under the name of
"YORKSHIRE SOUTH".
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
DRDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Northwest District of the Lutheran
"-hurch, Missouri Synod, by Kenneth R. Williams and Jean Williams,
President and Secretary respectively, have submitted to the City
Df Kent a proposed plat of the following described land in said
:�ity and located in the County of KiN?, State of Washington, and
more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the N.W.
1/4 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 27, township 22
north, range 4 east, W.M., in King County, Wash-
ington; Thence N 89002152" W along the north
line of said subdivision 495 feet; Thence S
0°58127" W on a line parallel to the east line
of said subdivision 440 feet to the south line
of the north 5 acres of the east 495 feet of
said subdivision; Thence S 89102152" E on a
line parallel to the north line of said sub-
division 495 feet; Thence N 0°58127" E 440 feet
to point of beginning. Except portion for
Military Road 1956.
and said matter having come on for hearing pursuant to notice of
said hearing duly posted in the form and manner and for the time
required by law, the City Council, after due consideration there-
of, and after said hearing, held an open Council Meeting on the
18 day of May, 1970, finds that said plat conforms to all the legal
requirements and that due provision has been made for all streets
and alleys and for other public necessities and convenience.
Section 2. That said plat of "YORKSHIRE SOUTH" be and
it is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are auth-
orized and directed to have approval thereof fully inscribed
thereon under their proper, official signatures with the seal
of the City of Kent.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval and publi-
cation as provided by law.
