ORDINANCE N0. ,S
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, vacating a certain alley within the
city limits of the City of Kent.
WHEREAS, the Kent City Council did, by Resolution No.
664 passed at a regular meeting of the Council on April 6, 1970,
resolve to vacate the alley located within the city limits of
Kent and hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 664 fixed the time for
hearing on said vacation as Monday, May 4, 1970, at 7:00 P. M.
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of Kent, Washington; and
WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution, the City
Clerk of the City of Kent gave twenty (20) days notice of the
hearing by a written notice posted in three of the most public
Places in the City of Kent and a like notice in a conspicuous
place on the alley sought to be vacated; said notice containing
the information required therein by the laws of the State of Wash-
ington and Ordinances of the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, thereafter the hearing on said vacation was
held in Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent
at 7:00 o'clock P. M. on the 4th day of May, 1970, and it appearing
that the vacation of said alley will not be a menace or inconvenien e
to the traveling public or to any other persons using the streets
and alleys of the City of Kent, Washington,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described alley within the
�ity of Kent, Washington, and which is more fully described here-

The alley in Block 13, Yesler's First
Addition to the City of Kent
Ls hereby vacated and will hereafter belong to the City of Kent.
Section 2. No vested rights shall be affected by the
)rovisions of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
.n force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
