AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending Section 2. of Ordinance
No. 1652,.regarding Uniform Building Code,
changing reference to Uniform Building Code,
1964 Edition, Volume I. to Uniform Building Code,
1967 Edition, Volume I.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2. of Ordinance 1652 which reads
as follows:
"In cases of conflict between that certain
Code known as"Uniform Building Code, 1964
Edition, Volume I."(seeKent City Ordinance
No. 1245, Section 3., June 16, 1964, codified
as Kent Ordinance 3.2.04), and that certain
Code known as the "Uniform Building Code -
Volume III - Housing, 1967 Edition", the
provisions of the latter code will prevail."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"In cases of conflict between that certain
Code known as "Uniform Building Code, 1967
Edition, Volume I" (see Kent City Ordinance
No. 1631, Section 2., January 5, 1970), and
that certain Code known as the"Uniform auilding
Code -- Volume III - Housing, 1967 Edition",
the provisions of the latter code will prevail."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
