ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington amending Kent City Ordinance
4 No. 1563 (December, 1968) to change the
regular meeting time of the Kent City
5 Council from 3 o'clock p.m. on the
first and third Mondays of each month.

7 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
8 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Kent City Ordinance No. 1563 (December, 1968)
8 which reads as follows:
10 "Council Meetings. The regular and other meetings
of the City Council of the City of Kent shall be
11 held in the Council Chambers of the City of Kent
at the City Hall, said regular meetings to be held
12 on the first and third Monday in the afternoons of
each month and the special meetings as provided by
13 law at such times as may be designated, said
meetings to convene at 3 o'clock p.m.; provided
14 if any such day for regular meeting be a legal
holiday, the said meeting shall be held on the
15 following day at the same hour."
16 is hereby amended to read as follows:

21 each month and the special meetings as provided
22 by law at such times as may be designated, said
23 meetings to convene at 7 o'clock p.m.; provided
if any such day of a regular meeting be a legal
24 holiday, the said meeting shall be held on the
25 following day at the same hour."
Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
26
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
27 .publication as provided by law..
