AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington relating to the City of Kent
Economic Development Corporation; renumbering
Chapter 12.18 Kent City Code to Chapter 12.28

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2419, adopted August 1, 1983,
J'dAjlj�icreated the City of Kent Economic Development Corporation; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 2419 established a new
Chapter 12.18 in the Kent City Code; and
WHEREAS, in the interim a revision to the Kent City Code
by the code publisher has codified the Binding Site Plan Ordinance
(Ordinance 2354) as Chapter 12.18 Kent City Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Kent desires to maintain clarity in
its municipal code; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF KENT DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 12.18 Kent City Code (as adopted by
Ordinance 2419, August 1, 1983) is amended and changed to Chapter
12.28 Kent City Code, and all sections in said chapter are hereby
renumbered accordingly, and a new Chapter 12.28 is added to the
Kent City Code to accomplish the purposes of this ordinance.
Section 2. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
