AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington
relating to the licensing and regulation of amuse-
ment devices and arcades; establishing license
fees for temporary use of amusement devices;
exempting temporary uses from the requirement for
a Master Arcade License; establishing a new
Section 5.19.054 of the Kent City Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new Section 5.19.054 is added to the Kent
City Code, as follows;
5.19.054 Temporary Licenses.
A. The fee for any amusement device, licensed for a
temporary use shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00).
B. A Master Arcade License shall not be required for
temporary use of more than ten (10) amusement devices at one
location.
C. "Temporary Use" for the purpose of the fees and
exemptions of this section means the operation of amusement device:
at a licensed fair, carnival, circus, or similar event, the durati<
of which does not exceed fourteen (14) days.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
