CASHSL �+�:t.:+�*5. sg%► \J31 22 ORDINANCE NO. _6��� AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washing- ton, vacating a portion of 101st Avenue Southeast, a public street within the City of Kent. WHEREAS, a proper application was filed for the vacation �of a portion of 101st Avenue Southeast within the City of Kent; Iand WHEREAS, thereafter, the Kent City Council did, by resolution, fix a time when said petition would be heard and determined by the Kent City Council; and WHEREAS, after passage of said resolution the City Clerk of the City of Kent gave twenty days notice of the pendency of said petition by a written notice posted in three of the most public places in the City of Kent and a like notice in a conspicuous places on the street sought to be vacated; and notice containing the information required therein by the laws of the State of Washington and the ordinances of the City of Kent; and WHEREAS, the Kent Planning Director has processed said petition and secured the technical facts pertinent to the question of said vacation which includes a sketch of the proposed vacation and also written approval or rejection thereof by the Water, Sewer and Street Departments of the City of Kent; and WHEREAS, the hearing on said petition was held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, City of Kent on the 17th day of August, 1981 and it appearing at said hearing that the granting of said petition would not be a menace or inconvenience to the travelling public or to any other persons using streets and alleys in the City of Kent, Washington, NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That a portion of 101st Avenue Southeast located within the city limits of Kent, more fully described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same hereby is vacated. - 1 - E Section 2. No vested rights shall be affected by the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
