ORDINANCE NO. �
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington
amending Section 2 of Ordinance 2224 relating to
exemptions of Ordinance 2224.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance 2224 which reads as
"Section 2. Scope. This ordinance applied to each
applicant for a building permit except the following:
A. An applicant for a permit for a building on a
lot legally subdivided after the effective date
of this Ordinance.
B. An applicant for a permit to make an addition,
alteration or repairs of less than twenty
thousand dollars ($20,000) in value to any
structure.
C. An applicant for a permit to make wholly
interior improvements within an existing
structure."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. Scope. This ordinance applied to each
applicant for a building permit except the following:
A. An applicant for a permit for a buildng on a
lot legally subdivided under the City of Kent
Subdivision Code after the effective date of
this Ordinance.
B. An applicant for a permit to make an addition,
alteration, or repairs of less than twenty
thousand dollars ($20,000) in value to any
structure.
C. An applicant for a permit to make wholly
interior improvements within an existing
structure."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
