ORDINANCE NO. �2 Z
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending Kent City Ordinance
1563 (December, 1968) as amended by Kent
City Ordinance 1629 (January, 1970) and
Kent City Ordinance 1764 (March, 1972) to
change the regular meeting time of the
Kent City Council from 8:00 o'clock p.m.
on the first and third Monday of each month
to 7:00 o'clock p.m. on the first and third
Monday of each month.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Kent City Ordinance 1764 which amended
Kent City Ordinance 1563 (December, 1968) as amended by Kent City
Ordinance 1629 (January, 1970) and which reads as follows:
"Council Meetings. The regular and other meet-
ings of the City Council of the City of Kent
shall be held in the Council Chamber of the
City of Kent at the City Hall, said regular
meetings to be held on the first and third
Monday in the evenings of each month and the
special meetings as provided by law at such
times as may be designated, said meetings to
convene at 8:00 o'clock p.m.;.provded if any
such day of a regular meeting be, ;a legal holi-
day, the said meeting shall be held on the fol-
lowing day at the same hour."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Council Meetings. The regular and other meet-

convene at 7:00 o'clock p.m.; provided if any
such day of a regular meeting be a legal holi-
day, the said meeting shall be held on the fol-
lowing day at the same hour."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
