Washington, amending Section 27 of Ordinance
1950 ana Sectilrn 9.02.108 of the Kent City
Code relating to penalty for violations of
the Kent Penal Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
JHEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 27 of Ordinance 1960 and Section
9,02.108 of the Kent City Code which read as follows:
`� "Section 27. PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS. Except as otherl

ting any section or provision of this Ordinance shall',
be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall
be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred (500)i
dollars or by imprisonment not to exceed six (6)
months, or by both such fine and imprisonment."

"Section 27. PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS. Except as other

ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon

other section of this ordinance shall be punished by
a fine not to exceed five hundred (500) dollars or by
imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or by both such j

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
