AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington,
l� amending Section 28 of Ordinance 1777 as
previously amended by Ordinances 2009 and
O2204
� relating to charges for sewer service.
'G�' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 28 of Ordinance 1777 as amended by Ordinance 2209,
as amended --by Ordinance 2204 which reads as follows:
"Section 28. Schedule of Charges.
Single Family Residential $6.40 per month
Other than single family residential shall
be billed in accordance with the
consumption of water and at the following
rates:
0 - 900 Cu. ft.
Consumption in excess of
900 Cu. ft.
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 28. Schedule of Charges
$6.40 per month
0.65 per 100 Cu ft."
Single Family Residential $11.15 per month
Single Family Residential (Life line rate) 8.95 per month
Other than single family residential shall be
billed in accordance with the consumption of
water and at the following rates:

2.20 + 1.00 per 100 Cu ft."
Eligibility criteria for life line rate shall be established by City3
Council. `d
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from an a ter its passage, approval and publication as provided by law,
provided however that the new rates shall be effective from and after the
start of the next billing cycle. The life line rate shall not be effective
until after City Council formally adopts, via Council resolution, thi s
eligibility criteria.
