AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, vacating a portion of South -
center Corporate Park Plat and two cul-de-
sacs located within said plat.
WHEREAS, a proper application was filed for the vaca-
tion of a portion of a plat within the City of Kent and for cul-
de-sacs located therein.
WHEREAS, thereafter, the Kent City Council did, by
resolution fix a time when said petition would be heard and deter-
mined by the Kent City Council or a committee thereof, to -wit:
Tuesday, September 2, 1980 at the hour of 8 o'clock p.m. in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent, Washington,
and
WHEREAS, after the passage of said resolution, the
City Clerk of the City of Kent gave twenty(20) days notice of the
pendency of said petition by a written notice posted in three (3)
of the most public places in the City of Kent and a like notice
in conspicuous places on the street sought to be vacated; said
notice containing the information required therein by the Laws of
the State of Washington and the ordinances of the City of Kent;
and
WHEREAS, the Kent Planning Director has processed sai
petition and secured the technical facts pertinent to the questio
of said vacation which includes a sketch of the proposed vacation
and also written approval or rejection thereof by the water,
sewer and street departments of the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, the hearing on said petition was held in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent at 8:00
o'clock p.m. on the 2nd day of September, 1980, and that hearing
being continued to the regular Council meeting of October 6, 1980
and continued again to the regular hearing of November 3, 1980
and it appearing at the November 3, 1980 hearing that the grant-
ing of the petition for vacation of a portion of said plat and
two cul-de-sacs therein would not be a menace or inconvenience
to the traveling public or to any other persons using streets and

and alleys in the City of Kent, Washington, NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Those cul-de-sac streets located within
Southcenter Corporate Park Plat within the City limits of Kent,
Washington, more fully described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby vacated.
Section 2. That portion of Southcenter Corporate
Park Plat recorded in Volume 114 of Plats, Pages 36-42, records o
King County, Washington and described as Lots 2 through 11, Block
2 be and the same hereby are vacated.
Section 3. The above referenced vacations are
expressly conditioned on the following:
a) Reservation of all utility and storm drainge
easements as delineated on the face of said
plat, and or previously granted.
b) Reservation of all dedicated right-of-way
adjacent to West Valley Highway.
c) Reservation of utility and storm drainage ease-
ment as described on attached Exhibit "B" in-
corporated herein by reference.
Section 4. No vested rights shall be affected by the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
