AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to traffic speeds, and
amending Section 2 of Ordinance 2163 relat-
ing to traffic speeds by adding two new sub-
sections thereto, and amending Section 5 of
Ordinance 2163 relating to violations.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance 2163 be and the
same hereby is amended by adding the following new sub -sections
thereto:

Section 2. Section 5 of Ordinance 2163 which reads as
"Section 5. VIOLATIONS. Every person convicted of
a vio ation of thig Ordinance shall be punished by
a find of not more than Five Hundred ($500) Dollars."

l ! "Section 5. VIOLATIONS. Violation of any of the pro-
visions of th s Ordinance shall be considered to e
a traffic infraction and shall be punishable by a
monitory amount that may be determined by statute,
ordinance or court rule."
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval P ub-
