V AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending Article 4 of the Uniform
Fire Code, 1979 Edition, adding a new section
relating to fees.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT OF , ,
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
I
Section 1. Article 4 of the Uniform Fire Code, 1979
Edition, previously adopted by Ordinance 2212 of the City of Kent,
is hereby amended by adding a new section thereto, which shall be
designated as Section 4.108 and which shall read as follows:
"FEES. Section 4.108. The fee for permits
issued in accordance with this article shall
be $35.00 per year, payable at or before the
time of issuance of any such permit or re-
newal thereof. Failure to pay for renewal
of a permit within 30 days of the renewal
date shall result in said permit being dou-
bled."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law.
