AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, referring to assault, changing the
title of "simple assault", amending 9.02.28 of
the Kent City Code.
THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Kent City Code 9.02.28 is amended as follows:
DEGREE. 9.02.28. ((S+MPRB-ASSABJ,T-)) ASSAULT IN THE FOURTH
Every person who shall, within the corporate limits of the City of
Kent, commit an assault or an assault and battery, upon another
person, not amounting to an assault in the first, second, or third
degree, as defined by the laws of the State of Washington, shall
be deemed guilty of assault in the fourth
degree, a misdemeanor.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
