AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, referring to penalties for
violations, increasing penalties for violations
and amending Section 9.02.108 of the Kent City
Code.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
1HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. Kent City Code Section 9.02.108 is amended as
;follows:
9.02.108. PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS. Except as otherwise
;specifically provided herein, any person violating any section of
;this Chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall
be punished by a fine not to exceed five ( (:=ur�e1) ) thousand
dollars or by imprisonment not to exceed ((s)) twelve months or
by both such fine and imprisonment. (0.1960, §27; 0.2314, §l;

Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
