AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to parking restrictions
and penalties for violation of such; amending
Section 10.06.170 of the Kent City Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 10.06.170 of the Kent City Code is
amended as follows:
10.06.170. PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF SECTIONS 10.06.120,
10.06.140, 10.06.150, AND 10.06.160, 10.06.230 AND 10.06.240. Anj
violation of Sections 10.06.120, 10.06.140, 10.06.150 and
10.06.160, 10.06.230 and 10.06.240 shall be an infraction and
punishable by a monetary penalty of not more than twenty-five
dollars; provided, however, that for any person not requesting a
mitigation hearing or contested hearing for any violation under
Sections 10.06.120, 10.06.140E 10.06.150, 10.06.230 and
10.06.240 of this Chapter, the penalty shall be ten
dollars.
Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
