AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to land use and zoning,
establishing the zoning of the Green River
Square generally located at the southwest
corner of South 212th Street and West Valley
Highway from M1, Industrial Park, to Ml -C
Industrial Park -Commercial.
WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner held a public hearing to
consider the rezone of the area described above and in attached
Exhibit "A," incorporated by this reference, on July 15, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner recommended to the City
Council that the property be rezoned from M1, Industrial Park to
M1 -C, Industrial Park -Commercial subject to certain conditions as
set forth in the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the
Hearing Examiner; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The findings and recommendations of the
Hearing Examiner as set forth in Green River Square rezone
findings and recommendations of the Hearing Examiner for the City
of Kent, which is on file with the Kent City Clerk, are hereby
adopted and the findings and recommendations are concurred with
for this site.
Section 2. Zoning for this site, generally located at
the southwest corner of South 212th Street and West Valley
Highway, and legally described in attached Exhibit "A,"
incorporated by this reference, is hereby changed from M1,
Industrial Park, to M1 -C, Industrial Park -Commercial.
Section 3. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 4. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.

County of King, State of Washington, being a portion of the SE 1/4 of
the NE 1/4 of Section 11, Township 22 North, Range 4 East, W.M> and
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of a line which is parallel to and 50.00
feet westerly of the east line of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said
