ORDINANCE N0. oZ,
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to land use and zoning,
providing for the rezoning of property
generally located on the south side of South
212th Street to the east of Russell Road, in
King County, Washington, from MA, Industrial
Agricultural to Ml, Industrial Park.

WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner held a public hearing to
consider the rezone of the area described in attached Exhibit A,
incorporated by this reference, on January 22, 1987;
WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner recommended to the City
Council that the property be rezoned from MA, Industrial
Agricultural, to M1, Industrial Park; NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The findings and recommendations of the
Hearing Examiner as set forth in Van Doren's Landing Rezone,
Findings and Recommendation of the Hearing Examiner for the City
of Kent which is on file with the Kent City Clerk are hereby
adopted and the findings are concurred with for this site.
Section 2. Zoning for this site, generally located on
the south side of South 212th Street to the east of Russell Road
at 21824 Russell Road, and legally described in attached Exhibit
A, incorporated by this reference, is hereby changed from MA,
Industrial Agricultural, to M1, Industrial Park.
Section 3. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.

Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
