AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to land use and zoning,
providing for the rezoning of property
described as Lots 5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, and
18, Block 12, Washington Central Improvement
Company's First Addition to Kent, as recorded
in Volume 3 of Plats, page 97 in King County,
Washington from MRH High Density Multifamily
Residential to 0, Professional and Office.
WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner held a public hearing to
consider the rezone of the area described as Lots 5, 6, 7, 14, 15,
16, 17, and 18, Block 12, Washington Central Improvement Company's
First Addition to Kent, as recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 97,
in King County, Washington, on October 1, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner recommended to the City
Council that the property be rezoned from MRH, High Density
Multifamily Residential, to 0, Professional and Office; NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The findings and recommendations of the
Hearing Examiner as set forth in City of Kent Rezone, Findings and
Recommendation of the Hearing Examiner for the City of Kent, which
is on file with the Kent City Clerk, are hereby adopted and the
findings are concurred with for this site.
Section 2. Zoning for this site, generally located
between Gowe Street and Meeker Street, approximately mid -block
between Kennebeck and State Avenue, and legally described as Lots
5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, Block 12, Washington Central
Improvement Company's First Addition to Kent, as recorded in
Volume 3 of Plats, page 97, King County, Washington, is hereby
changed from MRH, High Density Multifamily Residential, to 0,
Professional and Office.

Section 3. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
