AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to land use and zoning,
providing for the rezoning of property
described as Lots 8-13 of Block 12 of
Washington Central Improvement Company's First
Addition to Kent as recorded in Volume 3 of
Plats on page 97, records of King County,
Washington, from MRH, High Density Multifamily
Residential to 0, Professional and Office.
WHEREAS, the Hearing Examiner held a public hearing to
consider the rezone of the area described as Lots 8-13 of Block 12
of Washington Central Improvement Company's First Addition to Kent
as recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on page 97, records of King
County, Washington on October 1, 1986; and
f WHEREAS, the hearing was held open until October 8, 1986
for the taking of additional evidence; and
WHEREAS, the applicant requested rezone from MRH, High
Density Multifamily Residential to GC, General Commercial; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation was for approval of a rezone
to 0, Professional and Office zoning; and
WHEREAS, following the public hearings and consideration
of reports and testimony submitted into the record on the proposed
rezone and the staff recommendation, the Hearing Examiner for the
City of Kent rendered her findings and recommendations on
October 22, 1986 in the Kosnoski Rezone: Findings and
Recommendation of the Hearing Examiner for the City of Kent; and
WHEREAS, a request for reconsideration was filed on
November 6, 1986 by Mr. Kosnoski; and
WHEREAS, a request for reconsideration was duly reviewed
by the Hearing Examiner and was denied on November 26, 1986;
and

WHEREAS, appeals were received by the City of Kent from
IMr. Kosnoski; and
Section 2. The zoning for the site located generally on
the west side of Kennebeck Avenue between Meeker Street and Gowe
Street and legally described as Lots 8-13 of Block 12 of
Washington Central Improvement Company's first addition to Kent as
recorded in Volume 3 of Plats as page 97, records of King County,
Washington, is hereby changed from MRH, High Density Multifamily
Residential to 0, Professional and Office.
Section 3. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.

as set forth in the document titled Kosnoski

and Recommendations of the Hearing Examiner for

of Kent,
which is on file with the Kent City Clerk, are
;hereby
adopted and
the findings are concurred with for this site.
Section 2. The zoning for the site located generally on
the west side of Kennebeck Avenue between Meeker Street and Gowe
Street and legally described as Lots 8-13 of Block 12 of
Washington Central Improvement Company's first addition to Kent as
recorded in Volume 3 of Plats as page 97, records of King County,
Washington, is hereby changed from MRH, High Density Multifamily
Residential to 0, Professional and Office.
