AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to regular and other
meetings of the City Council; changing the
regular meeting days of the Kent City Council
from the first and third Monday of each month
to the first and third Tuesday of each month;
amending Kent City Code Section 2.04.020.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
3,HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

4 Section 1. Section 2.04.020 of the Kent City Code is
'hereby amended as follows:
2.04.020. COUNCIL MEETINGS. The regular and other
meetings of the City Council shall be held in the Council Chambers
at the City Hall unless otherwise designated by a majority of the
Council at a regular or special meeting, and said regular meetings:
to be held on the first and third man6ayTuesday in the
evenings of each month and the special meetings as provided by law
at such times as may be designated, said meetings to convene at
7.00 o'clock p.m.; provided, if any such day of a regular meeting
be a legal holiday, the said meeting shall be held on the

Section 2. This amendment shall commence in March, 1987.'
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
;effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
