AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to traff g and parking;
amending Kent City Code 10.06.6*4 by amending
Subsections (2), (10), (11), and (26) and adding
new Subsections (80), (81), and (82),
prohibiting parking on designated City streets;
amending Kent City Code 10.08.08 Subsections
u; (10), (12), (51), (52), (56) and (70) and adding
new Subsections (80) (81) and (82) to decrease
�.� allowable speed limits; and adding new Kent City
k (� Code Section 10.06.150 prohibiting parking on
all four lane highways and arterials.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
!HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. KCC 10.06.0-4'"is amended to alter Subsections
3I$(2) (10) (11) and (26) and to add new Subsections 80, 81 and 82 as
'follows:
10.06.x. NO PARKING ZONES. At such time as the Traffic
Engineer shall place the appropriate sign cr signs, it shall be
illegal to park any motor or other vehicle at any time on the
following roadways or portions thereof:

a. From Sixth Avenue south to ((West -Valley

Section 2. KCC 10.08,,0�Subsections (10), (12), (51),
',(52), (56), and (70) are amended, and new Subsections 80, 81 and
82 are added to change the allowable speed limit as follows:

Section 3. New Section KCC 14:6ts:ib is added to
-prohibit parking on all four lane highways and arterials.
10.07.010 ARTERIAL AND HIGHWAY PARKING PROHIBITED.
Parking is prohibited on four lane highways or arterials
Wess otherwise designated by sign or posting.
Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
jeffect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
(approval and publication as provided by law.
