ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to utilities and utility
embillings; amending Section 7.02.160 Kent City
04Code to remove a $5.00 delinquent fee, and to
b( add a $10.00 fee for advisal of intent to shut
off water by door hanging notice.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF �i'HE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
iY Section 1. Section 7.02.160 Kent City Code is amended as
follows:
7.02.160. DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLS. All utility bills
are due and payable in the office of the City 'Treasurer within teni;
days after the billing date appearing on the bill. Bills not paid'
within twenty-one days of the billing date shall be considered
delinquent; provided, that when the twenty-first day falls on a
legal holiday, Saturday or Sunday, the first business day
thereafter shall be considered the twenty-first day. Hii it:

be added to such utility account.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
