AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington relating to unlicensed parked //r,
vehicles; adding a new Section to 10.06.�W-
providing penalties for parking unlicensed
vehicles within the City.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby added to KCC 10.06 the
following new section:

10.06. kEr. Parking an Unlicensed Vehicle
(1) No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, on a
street, highway, alley, or public property unless said vehicle
possesses a proper and current vehicle license plate or plates,
and such plate or plates are properly mounted thereon in
accordance with the State of Washington Department of Licenses
Rules and Regulations, except as provided in this Chapter.
(2) Penalty. Any violation of K.C.C. 10.06.,E shall be
an infraction and punishable by a monetary penalty of not more
than $100.00. Vehicles in violation are also subject to
impoundment as provided by law.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
