amending Section 2.04.08 Kent City Code to I
provide for alternative location of Council

t >�THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
f ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Section 2.04.08 (reference to the Kent City
Code and in the Ordinances 510, 1563, 1629, 1764, and 2341) Kent
City Code is amended to read as follows:
COUNCIL MEETINGS. The regular and other meetings of the
City Council shall be held in the Council Chambers at the City
Hall, unless otherwise designated by majority of the Council at a
regular or special meeting, and said regular meetings to be held �
d on the first and third Monday in the evenings of such month and
the special meetings as provided by law at such times as may be
designed, said meetings to convene at 7:00 p.m.; provided, if any !i
such day of a regular meeting be a legal holiday, the said meetingli
shall be held on the following day at the same hour.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
