AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to LID 299 and the City's
System of Sewerage; accepting $4,060.38,
pursuant to Ordinance No. 2577 as a charge in
lieu of assessments; directing the Supervisor
of Treasury Accounting to deposit $4,060.38 in
the System of Sewerage Fund.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals.
1.1 On September 3, 1985, the City adopted Ordinance No.
2577 which set aside the vacation of Strain's First Addition Plat
to the City of Kent.
1.2. The vacation of the plat was conditioned upon the
payment of $4,060.38 concerning LID 299.
1.3. The City of Kent has received the payment of
$4,060.38.
1.4. The cost and expense for administration and
reopening of the assessment roll for LID 299 far outweighs the
amount received pursuant to Ordinance 2577.
1.5. The amount of $4,060.38 is appropriately directed
to the system of sewerage fund, as LID 299 is a sewer Local
Improvement District.
Section 2. The payment of $4,060.38, pursuant to
Ordinance No. 2577, is hereby acknowledged and accepted. The
Supervisor of Treasury Accounting is and she is hereby directed to
deposit said $4,060.38 in the system of sewerage fund.
Section 4. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
