AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to LID 315; repealing
Ordinance 2470 which established Local
Improvement District No. 315.
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1984, the City adopted Ordinance 2470
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE ordering the improvment of
South 259th Street and 74th Avenue South by
making certain street utility improvements, all
in accordance with Resolution 1007 of the City
Council; establishing Local Improvement District
No. 315 and ordering the carrying out of the
proposed improvement; providing that payment for
the improvement be made in part by special
assessments upon the property in the district,
payable by the mode of "payment by bonds;" and
providing for the issuance and sale of Local
Improvement District warrants redeamable in cash
or other short-term financing and Local
Improvement District bonds.
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, on August 5, 1985 determined
to terminate Local Improvement District No. 315, and to repeal
Ordinance 2470, and directed the City Attorney to prepare this
ordinance; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 2470 be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 2. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force five (5) days from and after its passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
