AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, relating to parking infraction
penalties, increasing a portion of the penalty
from five dollars to ten dollars, amending Kent
City Code 10.06.210.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

rr11 06 �' Section 1. Kent City Code 10.06.210 as amended follows:

10.06.210 PENALTY FOR SECTIONS 10.06.010 AND 10.06.130

Any violation of Sections 10.06.010 and 10.06.130 shall
V ` be an infraction and punishable by a monetary penalty of not more
than twenty-five ($25) dollars; provided, however, that for any
person not requesting a mitigation hearing or contested hearing,
$� the penalty shall be rme-dellars ten ($10) dollars.

Section 2. Any act consistent with the authority and
prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified
and confirmed.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force thirty (30) days from the time of its final
passage as provided by law.
