REPEALS Sec. 12.13.150 of Ords. 3260, 3339, 3393
ORDINANCE NO. 3118
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington,
amending the Kent City Code by repealing in its entirety the
sunset provisions set forth in Section 12.13.150 relating to
school impact fees.
WHEREAS, the school impact fee program as set forth in Chapter 12.13
of the Kent City Code terminates on March 31, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue the school impact fee
program by repealing the sunset provisions of Chapter 12.13 of the Kent City Code, NOW
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 12.13.150 is hereby repealed in its entirety as

SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent

jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force thirty (30) days from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by
law.
