RFSOLUTION NO. 225
','\I'H~RF.AS, there ifl. at Present no designation of any news-
paper as the official City newsuaner of the City of Kent; and
~~PEAS, it is for the best interests of the City of Kent
that a designation of an official City newspaper be made; now,
therefore,
BE: IT REf:OLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent
'i .::r·· that the Kent News-Journal, a weekly newspaper Published Thurs-
1 day of each week in the City of Kent, County of King, State of
Yashington, be and it is hereby designated as the official City
newspaper for the City of Kerit, County of King, State of Wash-
ington, for the calendar year 1940.
PASSED by the City Council this 19th day of February, 1940.
