BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT in
regular meeting assembled:.
That the City Council does hereby declare its intention of improving all
of the property contained within the following boundary lines, to-witt:
Block 28 W C I Co. Knob Hill Addn. except for the East 135 feet thereof,
by the construction of 8 inch sanitary sewer latual lines along the following
public roads and alley within the City of Kent, to-witt:
1. Along Walnut Street from East Lane to Garfield Ave.
2. Along Garfield Ave. from Walnut Street south a distance of 210 feet.
3. Along the alley between Walnut Street and Maple Street from Garfield
Ave. East a distance of 425 feet.
and by doing such other work as may be necessary in connection and thereto,
all in accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City
Engineer and to be approved by the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons who may desire to be heard
or to object to said improvement are hereby notified to appear and present
such objection at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent, Washington, at 8:00 o'clock P. M
on the first day of June, 1959, which time and place are hereby fixed for the
hearing, and all matters relating to said improvements, all objections thereto,
and for deter mining a method for payment of the same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk and the City Engineer
are directed to submit to the City Council at or prior to said date and time all
data and information required by law to be so submitted.
