RESOLUTION NO. 321
WHEREAS, there has been read " House Bill No. 206" on the first
reading January 25th. and ordered printed and referred to
Committee on Acriculture and Livestock, An Act Relating to
agricultural fairs and to encourage 4-H clubs and Smith-Hughes
students;
WHEREAS , it is the conclusion of the City Council of the City
of ~ent that the passage of said aet is very necessary for the
proper operation of the 4-H and or Smith Hughes Vocational
Agriculture Fair, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent,would
have , drafted in this act;
WHEREAS any county not holding a class A or Class B fa r
permitted to hold a countywide 4-H and or Smith Hughes
Vocational Agriculture Fair, with definite apportionme
funds alotted to their use without the requirements o
ing funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
OF KENT;
That the present Legislature of the State of Washingt
respectfully urged to enact said Act, and the additio
stated above in this resolution.
Adopted this 5th. day of February 1951, by the City Council
of the City of Kent in regular session assembled.
