RESOLUTION NO. ·~
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4 of Kent City Ordinance
]I 1257 and pursuant to the last official State Census which was
!)certified in August, 1969, the City of Kent now has the discretion!

;1 to increase the number of For Hire taxicab license permits from

(seven (7) to eight (8), and

li WHEREAS, three applications have been filed with the
of the City Clerk requesting issuance of said taxi cab !! office

jr WHEREAS, the licensing committee thereafter conducted a
ijstudy of said requests in conjunction with other City departments

;1 and has recommended to the full Kent City Council that at this
~time it is not in the best interests of the citizens of the City

r! 1. That the City Clerk of the City of Kent, Washington ,,
!1 is herewith ordered not to issue any further City of Kent taxi
" ;l cab For Hire permits without further review and study by the
:1 licensing committee of the Kent City Council.
1 2. The policy as set forth in this Resolution shall be)
