RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION OF the City of Kent, Washing-
ton, establishing the policy of the City of
Kent regarding sewer hook-ups and extension
of sewer services outside the City Limits of
the City of Kent.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, IN A
REGULAR MEETING, DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. As to new sewer hook-ups ,Vall properties
8 within a distance of 200 feet of an established sewer system shall
9 be given sixty (60) days written notice from the date of the

availability of said sewer service. At the end of said sixty (60)
days, whether or not said properties are connected to the sewer
system of the City of Kent, said properties shall be charged the
minimum sewer services then in effect, pursuant to the Ordinances
of the City of Kent.
Section 2. For sewer service outside the City Limits of
the City of Kent, the City of Kent will recognize the sphere of
influence and will serve on a first come, first serve basis up
to capacity of the City's sewer system as contracted for between
the City of Kent and Metro.
Section 3. As to sewer service outside the City Limits
of the City of Kent , the extra costs of increased sizing, etc.
for service to said outside areas, will be bo~by a split rate
and a guarantee applied to those outside hook-ups.
Section 4. As to sewer service outside the City Limits
of the City of Kent where the City does not serve an outside area
with water, the sewer rate will be computed on a flat rate per
unit basis, as established by the City Ordinances of the City of
Kent.
