TO: SPONSORS OF THE EAST SIDE AND WEST SIDE
GREEN RIVER WORK PLAN
In accordance with the previous understanding among the
sponsors of the East Side and West Side Green River Work
Plan, King County was the coordinating sponsor on matters
to be consummated with the Soil Conservation Service of
the United States Department of Agriculture.
This being the case, it must be attested to by all sponsors
that King County is the contracting agent for the sponsors.
Therefore, it is necessary for each sponsor to adopt a
resolution similar to the rough draft that is enclosed. If
this is not expedited, the project cannot be accomplished
for each action would require signatures of all sponsors
before Federal action could be taken.
You can readily appreciate that with the myriad of contract
documents, agreements, etc., that would be involved for
circulation to all for concurrent action would delay the work
to the point of ineffectuating our project.
King County will keep all sponsoring agencies fully advised
of any significant developments pertaining to the work plans.
Your earliest action by resolution on this matter is of
paramount importance.
