RESOLUTION NO. 524
WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the
following described real property located in the City of Kent
County of King, State of Washington and which 1s more fully
described hereafter, have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Kent to vacate said real property, and
WHEREAS, that certain real property sought to be vaca-
ted is described as follows:
City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington:
Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 9, Block 16,
Yesler's First Addition as recorded in Vol. S
of Plats, Page 64, Records of King County,
Washington; thence S 8 9 ° 3 8' 3 2" tv along the north
line of Lots 9,8,7,6,5,4,3 and 2 in said Block 16
to the NW corner of Lot 2 said Block 16; thence N
1° 40' 0 9" E along the \!Jest line of said Lot 2 pro-
jected northerly a distance of 24.83 ft; thence S
88°34'51" E along a line 50 ft South of and par-
allel to the center line of Smith St. to the East
line of Lot 9 said Block 16 projected northerly;
thence Southerly alon? said projected East Line
9.95 ft to the point of beginning.
That portion of alley in Block 16, Yesler's Addition
as recorded in Vol. 5 of Plats, Page 64, Records of
King County, V./ashington lying East of the \>Jest line
of Lot 2, said Block 16 projected Southerly.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby
RESOLVED: That Monday, the 17th day of August, 1964
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. is hereby fixed as the time
and the Council Chambers of the City Hall of the City of Kent
is hereby fixed as the place for a hearing upon said petition
for said street vacation, and all persons interested are re-
quired then and there to be present and state their objections,
if any they have 1n the grantinp of said petition, and the City
Cla:k. is directed to take such steps as are required for noti-
fication of said hearing under the provisions of R.C.W. 35.79.

ances of the City of Kent.
