RESOLUTION NO. ) 1:73 .
A Resolution of the City of Kent relating to
land use and other advantageous development,
and amending the Comprehensive Plan heretofore
adopted by Resolution No. 431 of said City,
as thereafter amended by Resoltuions No. 452 and
No. 469 of said City.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did by Resolution
o. 431, entitled"a Resolution of the City of Kent relating to
and use and other advantageous development and adopting a Com-
rehensive Plan", passed by the City Council on the 6th day of
eptember, 1960, and approved by the Mayor on said date, adopt a
omprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did by Resolution
o. 452 and Resolution No. 469, adopted and approved, respectively,

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, after
onsideration thereof, did recommend to the City Council of the
ity of Kent certain other amendments to said Comprehensive Plan
relating particularly to the extension of streets for future
development, which said amendments are more fully set forth here-
fter; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did, upon proper
otion therefor, and after proper public notice, hold a public
hearing upon said proposals to amend said Comprehensive Plan on
the 21st day of May, 1962, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent in
regular meeting assembled:
Section 1~ That the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Kent
heretofore adopted by Resolution No. 431 and amended by Resoitions
No. 452 and 469, be and the same is hereby amended to provide for
the following streets, in the following particulars, to-wit:
(a) Extend South 212th St. from PSH 5 (East Valley Highway)
southeasterly to the intersection of SSH 5-C (104th Ave.
Southeast) and Southeast 240th Street.
(b) Extend Winner Street from SSH 2-M (West Valley Highway)
westerly to an intersection with the Military Road, just no th
of SSH 5-A (Kent-Des Moines Road).

(c) Extend the Star Lake-Lake Fenwick Road southerly to
an intersection with South 277th Street.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Kent be and

he is hereby authoriz'e'd and directed to make the changes herein
set forth upon the Comprehensive Planning Map of the City of Kent
or by an addendum map thereto.
Section 3. That upon said amendments being shown upon the
Comprehensive Planning Map of the City, or upon an addendum there-
to, a copy of said map duly certified by the City Clerk, be
recorded or filed with the County Auditor of King County, and
that a certified copy of this resolution or the original thereof
be recorded with the County Auditor of King County.
