RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION of the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington declaring its
intention to improve a part of the City by the
improvement of 84th Avenue South from South
212th Street to South l92nd Street by the con-
struction of a 59 foot wide street with asphalt
pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm drain-
age, sidewalks and underground power; and to
create a local improvement district to assess
a portion of the cost and expense of carrying
out such improvement against the properties
specially benefited thereby, and notifying all
persons who desire to object to the project to
appear and present their objections at a meet-
ing of the Kent City Council to be held on
March 19, 1979.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the
City of Kent, Washington to order the improvement of the property
within the City of Kent, Washington described in Exhibit "A" at-
tached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the im-
provement of 84th Avenue South from South 212th Street to South
192nd Street by the construction of a 59 foot wide street with
asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage, side-
walks and underground power as described in Exhibit "B" attached
hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvement is declared to be Two Million Eight Hundred Twenty-
Three Thousand, Nine Hundred Sixty-Nine ($2,823,969.00) Dollars,
Four Hundred Twenty-Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety-Two
($427,592.00) Dollars of which is to be borne by the City of Kent,
One Million Nine Hundred Seventy-Eight Thousand, Two Hundred
Eighty-Five ($1,978,285.00) Dollars of which is to be provided by
Urban Arterial Board funds and the balance of Four Hundred Eighteen
Thousand, Ninety-Two ($418,092) Dollars to be borne by and assessed
against the properties specially benefited by such improvement to
be included in the local improvement district to be established
embracing as near as may be all properties specially benefited by
such improvement.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and
present such objections to the Kent City Council at a regular meet-
ing of March 19, 1979 at 8 o'clock in the City Council Chambers at
the Kent City Hall.
Section 4. The Public Works Director of the City of Kent
is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to
March 19, 1979 all date and information required by law to be sub-
mitted.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington and approved by the Mayor at a
regular meeting thereof February 20, 1979.

22 North, Range 4 East, W.M.; and Government Lot 1~ in the North-
