A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, declaring its intention to improve a part of the City by the construction and installation of 6 inch and 8 inch sanitary sewers together with nec- essary appurtenances thereto in the area bound- ed generally by Military Road South on the west, 43rd Avenue South on the east, a point approximately 100 feet north of South 239th Street on the north, and a point approximately 250 feet south of South 243rd Street on the south; and to create a local improvement dis- trict to assess the cost and expense of car- rying out such improvement against properties specially benefited thereby, and notifying all persons who desire to object to the pro- ject to appear and present their objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held on April 2, 1979. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON: Section l. It is the intention of the Council of the City of Kent, Washington to order improvement of the property within the City of Kent, Washington described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the construction and installation of 6 inch and 8 inch sanitary sewers together with necessary appurtenances thereto as described in Exhibit "B" attach- ed hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the improvement is declared to be Four Hundred Sixteen Thousand, Six Hundred Twelve and 79/100 ($416,612.79) Dol- lars, Sixteen Thousand One Hundred Four and 31/100 ($16,104.31) Dollars of which shall be borne by the City and the balance of Four Hundred Thousand, Five Hundred Eight and 48/100 ($400,508.48) Dollars to be borne by and assessed against the properties specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be established embracing as near as may be all properties specially benefited by such improvement. Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein described are hereby notified to ap- pear and present such objections to the Kent City Council at a regular meeting of April 2, 1979 at 8 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the Kent City Hall. Section 4. The Public Works Director of the City of Kent is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to April 2, 1979 all data and information re- quired by law to be submitted. The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington and approved by the Mayor at a regular meeting thereof February 20, 1979.
