A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent,
Washington, adopting the 1977 through
1982 revision to the City of Kent's six
year arterial street construction pro-
gram.
WHEREAS, the City of Kent has, in accordance with
RCW 35.77.010 previously adopted a six year arterial street
construction program, and
WHEREAS, the laws of the State of Washington require
annual revision and review of said street program, and
WHEREAS, the City did prepare a revised and extended
six year arterial street construction program covering the years
1977 through 1982, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the City Council
on June 7, 1976 after due and proper notice thereof to consider
revisions to said program for the years 1972 through 1982, and
WHEREAS, after said public hearing the six year arte-
rial street construction program attached hereto as Exhibit A
incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein
was approved as the official revised and extended six year arte-
rial street construction program of the City of Kent for the
years 1977 through 1982, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1. The six year arterial street construction
program attached hereto as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by
reference as if fully set forth herein by and the same hereby is
approved.
Section 2. It is the intent of the City Council that
in the event of a funding conflict that fire control signal at

Fourth Avenue and ~treet would have preference over improve-
ment of Fourth Avenue itself between Crowe and Saar Streets.
Section 3. The Director of Public Works be and he
hereby is authorized and directed to transmit to the Director
of the State Department of Highways a copy of this Resolution
and the appropriate plans.
PASSED at a Regular Meeting of the Kent City Council
this 21st day of June, 1976.
