RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Kent, Washington, declaring its
intention to improve a part of the City by
constructing and installing eight {8) and
twelve (12) inch sanitary sewer lines along
84th Avenue South (East Valley Highway) from
approximately South 218th Street to approxi-
mately South 212th Street; and to create a
Local Improvement District to assess the cost
and expense of carrying out such improvement
against the property specially benefited
thereby; and notifying all persons who desire
to object to the project to appear and pre-
sent their objections at a meeting of the
City Council to be held on January 3, 1972.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent,
Washington as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of the Council of the
City of Kent, Washington, to order the improvement of the property
within the City of Kent, Washington, described in Exhibit A, at-
tached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the con-
struction and installation of eight {8) inch and twelve (12) inch
sanitary sewers described in Exhibit B, attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvement is declared to be $192,671.88. Not to exceed $192,671.88
of that cost and expense shall be borne by and assessed against the
property specially benefited by such improvement to be included in
a Local Improvement District to be established embracing as near as
may be all property specially benefited by such improvement. In the
event the City shall receive monies from the United States of America
or the State of Washington, or shall have committed available monies
of the City for financing a portion of the improvement, then the

amount to be assessed against the property in the Local Improve-
ment District shall be reduced by the amount of such monies re-
ceived or committed.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and
present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be
held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Kent, Washington,
at 7:00 p.m. (PST) on January 3, 1972, which time and place are
hereby fixed for hearing all matters related to the proposed im-
provement, and all objections thereto, and for determining the
method of payment for the improvement.
Section 4. The City Engineers are hereby directed to
submit to the City Council on or prior to January 3, 1972 all
data and imformation required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing RESOLUTION was adopted by the City Council
of the City of Kent, Washington at a regular meeting thereof this
6th day of December, 1971.

Beginning at the intersection of the east line extended north of
Tract 11, Kent Five Acre Tracts as recorded in Vol. 10, Page 19,
records of King County, Washing-ton, with the intersection of the
south line of the N ! of the NE t in said Section 12 being the
True Point of Beginning of property herein described; thence
south along said extended line and said east line of Tract 11 to
the NE corner of Tract 10 in said Kent Five Acre Tracts; thence
south along the east line of said Tract 10 to the SE corner
