A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent,
Washington regarding vacation of a portion of
27th Avenue South south of south 246th Street,
and setting a public hearing for June 16,
1986. [Application of Eugene and Young Choy]
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed requesting a
vacation of a portion of 27th Avenue South south of South 246th
Street, more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of 27th Avenue south abutting
Lots 3 through 11, Block 21 and Lots 32 through
40, Block 20, according to the Plat of
Interurban Heights Third Section, as recorded
in Volume 17 of Plats, Page 87, Records of King
County, Washington.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing on the aforesaid vacation
petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent City Council to
be held at 7:00p.m., June 16, 1986 in the Council Chambers in
City Hall, Kent, washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice of
the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain the
necessary approval or rejection of, or other information from, the
Water, Street, and Sewer Departments and shall transmit said
information to the City Council so that the matter can be
considered by the City Council at a regular meeting on June 16,
1986.
