Home My WebLink About1032RESOLUTION No.,/03~ A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent, Washington amending the City of Kent Comprehensive Transportation Plan, Resolution No. 1014, to include a third east/west study corridor between s.E. 208th Street and S.E. 240th Street in the Arterial Plan. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ef Kent, Washington adopted the City of Kent Comprehensive Transportation Plan by adoption of Resolution No. 1014 on May 7, 1984; and WHEREAS, said Transportation Plan designated two east/west arterials as Study Corridors; and WHEREAS, such designation in the Transportation Plan stated that the corridors were to be studied for their potential, but also recognized the need for additional joint agency study and joint agency concurrence; and WHEREAS, there is consideration for the need to study an additional east/west corridor; and WHEREAS, the City Council commenced a public hearing on a proposal to amend the Transportation Plan on October 15, 1984; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was continued until November 5, 1984; and WHEREAS, it being determined that a new east/west arterial, between s.E. 208th Street and S.E. 240th Street, be designated a Study Corridor along with the previously designated Study Corridors of 192nd/196th and 272nd/277th; NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City of Kent Comprehensive Transportation Plan, and Resolution No. 1014, are amended to add to the Arterial Plan therein an additional Study Corridor between S.E. 208th Street and S.E. 204th Street.
