A RESOLUTION of the City of Kent,
Washington, regarding vacation of a por-
tion of 80th Place s. and setting a
public hearing for September 4, 1984.
WHEREAS a proper petition has been filed request-
ing vacation of a portion of 80th PlaceS., described as
follows:
A parcel of land situate 1n the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township
23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of the Southeast l/4 of the Northeast
l/4 of said Section 36;
THENCE S 87°58'46" E. 40.00·feet.along the centerline of existing s.w. 43rd Street;
THENCE S 1°47'22" W. 348.00 feet;
THENCE S 88°12'38" E. 346.75 feet to the intersection of the North
margin of 80th Place South as revised under King County Recording
No. 7501220006 and the Southwesterly margin of BOth Place South and
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE N 47°42'46" W. 402.39 feet;
THENCE 63.51 feet along the arc of a non-tangent curve the center of
which bears S 78°39'05'1 E. 55.00 feet, through a central angle of
66°09'49";
THENCE S 47°42'46'1 E. 470.40 feet;
THENCE N 88°12'38" W. 92.39 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. . '
Said parcel lies wholly within the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township
23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., and contains 0.61 acres more or less.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON,
DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That a public hearing on the aforesaid
vacation petition shall be at a regular meeting of the Kent
City Council to be held at 7:00p.m., September 4, 1984, in
the Council Chambers in City Hall, Kent, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall give proper notice
of the hearing and cause the notice to be posted as provided
by law.
Section 3. The Planning Director shall obtain
the necessary approval or rejection of, or other information
from, the water, street, and sewer departments and shall
transmit said information to the City Council so that the
~atter can be considered by the City Council at a regular
m~eting on September 4, 1984.

Council this 6th day of August, 1984.
